Bio
Inara Lalani is the Co-Founder & CEO of femtherapeutics, a medical device company redefining pelvic health with personalized and accessible solutions, starting with an inflatable pessary for prolapse. Since its inception, femtherapeutics has gone on to be named as Canada's Top 20 Most Innovative Companies by CIX, and been awarded Innovations for Equity by WIN: Women in Innovation alongside Planned Parenthood Federation of America and Taygerly Labs. Growing up, Inara moved around from country to country, including Pakistan, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Poland, Qatar and Canada. Amidst the vibrancy and multiculturalism, she saw widespread socioeconomic inequalities that has since inspired her work in healthcare. Inara is a leader in women's health, and a registered keynote speaker with Talent Bureau where she has spoken about bridging the gender health innovation gap and women’s entrepreneurship at many conferences, universities, and forums globally. Her dedication and work have earned her notable awards and recognitions, including Forbes 30 Under 30, McGill's Rising Star Award, and Bay Street Bull's Women of the Year. In addition to her work, Inara leads a few NPO initiatives to support programming that champions innovators in research, entrepreneurship, and humanitarian work.
