Ronan Tse-Min Fu (Taiwan)

Assistant Research Fellow, Institute of Political Science, Academia Sinica

Ronan is an Assistant Research Fellow at the Institute of Political Science, Academia Sinica. He was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Columbia-Harvard China and the World Program at Columbia University. His research examines public opinion, political psychology, alliance politics, and East Asian security, with a focus on how democratic publics evaluate credibility and security co-operation across the Indo-Pacific. 

Ronan has designed and fielded surveys and survey experiments in various countries in the Asia Pacific and regularly provides policy consultation to government agencies and leading policy think-tanks in Taiwan. He was selected by Taiwan’s National Science and Technology Council as both an Emerging Young Scholar in 2021 and an Excellent Young Research Investigator in 2025 under its 2030 Cross-Generational Young Scholars Program.
