John Bruk is a retired Canadian lawyer and mining executive, and the Founding Chair (1984-1987) of the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada. John came to Canada in 1951 as a refugee, having escaped the oppressive regime of the late Marshal Tito of Yugoslavia. He has four sons (Mark, Ian, Bruce, and Steven) with late wife Carol (nee Sparling) and resides in North Saanich on Vancouver Island, Canada, with wife Helen (nee Cameron).
