Globalization, Innovation and International Health - Presented by the Consulate General of Japan
The Consulate General of Japan, in collaboration with the School of Population Health & Public Health, UBC Centre for Japanese Research and the Liu Institute for Global Issues, will be hosting a presentation by Professor Kiyoshi Kurokawa on how globalization and innovation impact society in both positive and negative ways. Professor Kurokawa, a scientist and public health expert, will discuss how Canada and Japan, both world leaders on innovation, should actively collaborate on international health by utilizing innovation.
