Joshua Russell works at the Canadian Northern Economic Development Agency in Iqaluit. He supports the implementation of the Arctic and Northern Policy Framework through program delivery to encourage diverse and sustainable economies. His focus on the Arctic increased his desire to learn more about the interests of Pacific states in the region and how the Arctic may be another avenue for Canada to engage with them. As a person of Indonesian heritage, he is also interested in Canada-Indonesia relations. Joshua has a B.A. in political science from the University of Ottawa and an M.A. in public administration from Carleton University.
