Jeremy Chih-Cheng Chang
Dr. Jeremy Chih-Cheng Chang is a legal scholar specializing in geopolitics, technology law, and policy. He serves as Chief Executive Officer and Director of Economic Security Research at the Research Institute for Democracy, Society, and Emerging Technology (DSET). His work focuses on safeguarding critical national technologies, including export controls, foreign investment screening, trade secrets, security clearance, and regulatory compliance.
He also examines economic security and semiconductor supply chain resilience in the United States, Japan, and Taiwan. Previously, he taught at Kyoto University and conducted postdoctoral research at Harvard University. He holds a Ph.D. in Law from Kyoto University and an LL.M. from Cornell Law School.
