Join us to learn about “ikebana” – Japanese flower arranging – from a master “kado-ka” flower artist at one of Tokyo’s most prestigious ikebana schools. The koryu-toyokai school believes flowers are most beautiful in their natural, wild state, and their arrangements reflect this respect for the natural and ephemeral. Participants will watch Miyamoto san create a beautiful flower display and learn about the tools and tricks required to create their own magnificent displays.
Hosted by the Japan International Cooperation Center (JICE). This event is open to all Kakehashi alumni and participants.
