Mahaveer Singhvi
Mr. Mahaveer Singhvi joined the Indian Foreign Service in 1999. Since then, he has served in several important assignments in the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, including, presently, as the Additional Secretary (New, Emerging and Strategic Technologies). Previously, he has served as the Joint Secretary NEST, Joint Secretary (Counter Terrorism), Joint Secretary (Central Europe), Director (SAARC, BIMSTEC and Border Connectivity), Director (East and Southern Africa), Director (Latin America and Caribbean), Director (Multilateral Economic Relations), and Deputy Secretary (Technical Cooperation). He has also represented India on several international forums during his various assignments in the diplomatic service.
Mr. Singhvi has been educated and trained at the University of Oxford (U.K.), IIM Ahmedabad, LBSNAA Mussoorie, the ICAI, and the University of Delhi, Rajasthan, and Jodhpur. His qualifications include LL.B., ACA, ACS, ICWA, MBA, MBF, M.St. (Oxford) and B.Com (Hons).
