Naluwan Dance Troupe

Established in 1990 under the guidance of the Council of Indigenous Peoples, Naluwan Dance Troupe is based at the Taiwan Indigenous Peoples Cultural Park in Pingtung. Through fieldwork and storytelling, the troupe transforms tribal memory, language, and ritual into vibrant stage performances. Their works reflect the richness of Taiwan’s Indigenous cultures with contemporary artistry and emotional depth. Beyond Taiwan, Naluwan has performed across the globe — from Berlin to Bangkok, Palau to Hawaiʻi — serving as a bridge between tradition and modern audiences, and showcasing the resilience and beauty of Taiwan’s Indigenous communities on the international stage.
