Victor T. Thomas
Victor Thomas is the President and CEO of the Canada-India Business Council, an organization dedicated to fostering bi-national trade and investment between Canada and India for over 40 years. In addition, he holds the position of Chair of Marval Capital Ltd.’s Investment Advisory Council, which invests in India’s leading small and mid-cap publicly listed companies and was the Chair at Precision AI, an AgTech company striving for sustainable farming practices in the autonomous farming revolution. Prior, he was the Executive Director of Aspen Medical Canada, the Canadian subsidiary of Australia’s Aspen Medical. With more than two decades of leadership experience, Victor has worked with high-growth private sector companies in Canada and Australia with reach to India, the U.S., China, Southeast Asia, and the UAE.
Victor is a National Executive Member for the Governor General's Canadian Leadership Conference, the Pacific NorthWest Economic Region – North American Advisory Council, and Canada’s Energy for a Secure Future Advisory. He currently sits on Canada’s Banff Forum’s Advisory Council and served as Chair. He is a director emeritus of the Rideau Hall Foundation Board of Directors and sits on its Program Committee.
Victor’s formal education includes a Master of Administration in Leadership from the University of Regina, the Director’s College Program at McMaster University, and the Advanced Management Program at Wharton.
