
Pamela Qiu
Pamela Qiu leads the Southeast Asia business at Control Risks. She is concurrently the head of Control Risks’ office in Singapore. Pamela is responsible for the development of the business in the region, managing key client relationships and partnerships, and advising senior business leaders on areas of risk that impact their operations. She has 20 years of experience working in public policy, consulting, and professional services.
Before joining Control Risks, Pamela was Head for Business Development at the Alliance to End Plastic Waste, a global non-profit organization engaging with major stakeholders across the plastic value chain to drive systems change in the management of plastic. Prior to that, Pamela was Network Director at The Economist Group, where she led its CEO insight and intelligence service in Southeast Asia and drove its thought leadership agenda and client engagement program in the region. From 2007 to 2011, Pamela worked at the Singapore Ministry of Finance and designed policies that were featured in the Singapore Budget.
Pamela is a Board Member of the Singapore International Chamber of Commerce. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a Master’s degree in Development Studies, both from the London School of Economics (LSE).
