Felipe Civita Ferreira

Felipe Civita Ferreira is an international business professional and the Global Engagement Manager at Kwantlen Polytechnic University. He was selected as one of the Alberta Council for Global Cooperation's Top 30 Under 30 in 2018. He has worked, lived, and studied in seven countries and speaks three languages fluently. He has supported international development and consulting projects with a focus on education both in policy and operational roles. Felipe is passionate about social entrepreneurship, education, and the role that businesses can play in achieving the UN's Sustainable Development Goals. He is interested in how Canadian and Asian Pacific firms can collaborate in trade, research, and educational opportunities. Felipe holds a Master's degree in Global Business from the University of Victoria and a Bachelor of Management from the University of Lethbridge.

Through his position on the Asia Pacific Youth Council, Felipe hopes to use his experiences and background to create opportunities to engage youth in Canada and foster greater understanding between Canada and the Asia Pacific.
