The Institute for Asian Research at UBC is hosting a discussion and reception on the subject of recent developments in Japanese politics, including governance, economics and foreign policy under the Abe administration following the recent Upper House Elections. The event will be moderated by Joseph Caron, Former Canadian Ambassador to Japan and APF Canada Distinguished Fellow, and will feature Ikuo Kume, Yves Tiberghien, Yoshiko Kojo, Satoshi Machidori and Benjamin Nyblade as panelists.
