Realizing Canada’s Clean Energy Opportunity in Asia
The 'Realizing Canada’s Clean Energy Opportunity in Asia' workshop will bring together 20 leaders from government, think tanks and the energy industry to develop concrete recommendations for how Canada can improve its performance in exporting renewable energy and energy efficiency technology and services to China, India and South Korea. All recommendations will be synthesized into a final report aimed at federal and provincial government decision makers.
While global demand for renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies is increasing rapidly, Canada has been losing its global market share in this area. At the same time, many Asian countries, including South Korea and China, have become world-leading consumers and exporters of this technology. As a result, Asian countries are not just potential markets for Canadian renewable energy and energy efficiency technology, but also compete against Canadian providers both in Asia and globally.
This event is invite-only.
