The Toronto chapter of the Japan Foundation is hosting a talk by Yorizumi Watanabe, Professor in the Faculty of Policy Management at the Graduate School of Media and Governance, Keio University, on February 11 at 6:30PM on the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP). Professor Watanabe will discuss the current state of global trade negotiations, looking specifically at the factors that led to the TPP's development and the structure of the partnership in comparison to other trade regimes such as NAFTA. He will also discuss the specific facets of the TPP in relation to the impact on the Canadian and Japanese economies. The talk will take place at 131 Bloor Street, Suite 213.
