Trans-Pacific Aviation Law & Policy Conference
The Centre for Asia Pacific Initiatives, supported by the Faculty of Law at the University of Victoria, presents the Trans-Pacific Aviation Law and Policy Conference at the Hyatt Regency Vancouver on October 8 & 9.
With an intensive focus on the Pacific, the Trans-Pacific Aviation Law and Policy Conference will bring together airport, airline, government officials and academics from Asia and the Americas to examine key legal-policy issues. Sessions will include: the liberalization of air services agreements; transnational business models; private air law; airports and trans-Pacific connectivity; safety, security, liability and insurance; and a holistic look at the future of trans-Pacific aviation.
Speakers include Brian Havel (USA), Alan K.J. Tan (Singpore), Liu Hao (China), Alejandro Piera (Paraguay), Joseph Wheeler (Australia), John Macilree (New Zealand) and Brian Poston (Canada).
