Bela Gupta D’Souza

Bela Gupta D'Souza is the founder of edamama, the leading parenting platform in the Philippines to shop for the most trusted childcare products and services, while discovering authentic parenting content and advice. edamama operates 10 retail stores nationwide in the Philippines and has developed a wide range of affordable, high quality maternal and baby products under its private label brand "bean". Bela has lived and worked in Japan, Thailand, the US, India and the UK before moving to the Philippines in 2012, where she has been an active contributor to the business and startup ecosystem as a founder, executive, investor and advisor. Prior to edamama, Bela was Founder & CEO of AdSpark, a digital marketing agency backed by Globe Telecom and Founder & COO of Groupon in Thailand. Bela graduated with an MBA from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Economics from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai. Bela is married with three young children, who serve as the inspiration behind the edamama mission.
