Geneviève Gagnon
Geneviève Gagnon has earned two bachelor’s degrees, one in psychology and one in public relations.
She has worked in public affairs, communications, and event planning for more than six years as a consultant for businesses and non-profit organizations.
In 2003, she launched La Fourmi Bionique, a Montreal-based food processing business, where she is president and owner.
Operating out of a 15,000-square-foot facility, La Fourmi Bionique produces wholesome, premium-quality artisanal cereals made from local, organic, and fair-trade ingredients, as well as gluten-free granolas and trail mixes, all made with a sustainable approach.
Geneviève is recognized for her trend-setting abilities and her quality-driven approach, combined with a continuous improvement mindset. Her skillset and passion for creating great granola recipes have contributed to making La Fourmi one of the top-five-ranking granola brands sold to mass retail in Canada.
Throughout her entrepreneurial journey, Geneviève has received over a dozen recognitions and honours, including the Quebec Businesswomen’s Award in 2011 and 2019.
Mother to three young children, aged 8 to 12, Geneviève’s experience proves that business success and motherhood can go hand in hand.
