Mina Zarabian

Dr. Mina Zarabian is the CEO and co-founder of Carbonova Corp., a cleantech company transforming CO₂ and methane into net-negative carbon nanofibers (CNFs) for use in composites, plastics, batteries, and construction materials.  

A co-inventor of Carbonova’s technology, she combines deep expertise in catalysis and materials science with a track record of scaling innovations from lab to market. Under her leadership, Carbonova has raised over C$15 million and is now heading into the design and construction of its first 25-tonne commercial demonstration unit.  

Mina has been recognized with the Global Energy Show Emerging Leader Award, ACR Young Resource Leader Award, Canada’s Clean50 Honouree, and the Climate Solutions Prize, among many more.
