Arthur Smith-Windsor is a Master of Global Affairs student at the University of Toronto. In addition to being fluent in Japanese and taking part in academic exchanges in both China and Japan, he received his BA (Hons.) in Political Studies from Queen’s University. Arthur’s previous experiences include being a Junior Research Scholar at The Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada and an intern at the Sasakawa Peace Foundation’s International Peace and Security research group. His research interests primarily include Japanese foreign policy, the international relations of East and Southeast Asia, and emerging security domains.
