Ashley Entwistle

Ashley analyzes Arctic security and climate issues for the Arctic Institute’s flagship publication. She was raised in Mumbai and Singapore and graduated from Colorado College with a B.A. in Political Science and History, and a minor in Environmental Studies. Ashley’s interests centre on environmental security across Asia and Indo-Pacific–Arctic engagement — particularly its implications for Canada. She was recently selected as an Early Career Scholar for the East-West Center’s North-Pacific Arctic Conference and was formerly a Research Assistant at the Arctic Centre, where she worked on China’s Arctic engagement.
