Brian Wu

Brian is pursuing a master’s in international affairs at the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs at Carleton University. He specializes in the politics and foreign policy of China and Japan, Canada’s critical minerals sector, and economic security more broadly. His work has been published by the CDA Institute, the Strategic Analysis Network, and The China Project. He has recently been selected as one of the winners of Global Affairs Canada’s 2026 International Policy Ideas Challenge.
