Daniel Minden

Daniel Minden is a first-year JD candidate at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. From 2021–24, Daniel served as Director of Communications and Press Secretary to three Canadian Ministers of National Defence. In these roles, Daniel crafted government messaging on key defence issues, including military procurements and operations and served as part of the team that authored Canada’s 2024 Defence Policy Update, “Our North, Strong and Free.”

 In 2024, Daniel left government to pursue a master's degree in Diplomatic Studies at the University of Oxford. Daniel remains engaged in foreign policy and defence issues during his legal studies.
