Eric Lam

Through his work with the ADB, Eric has supported energy transition, regional energy connectivity, and climate finance initiatives across Asia and the Pacific. Prior to joining ADB, he worked for several Government of Canada departments, including Environment and Climate Change Canada, Natural Resources Canada, and Transport Canada. He represented Canada as a climate finance negotiator under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, supported implementation of Canada’s international climate finance program, and served as the private finance lead for the Powering Past Coal Alliance. Eric holds a Master of Science in Energy, Society and Sustainability from the University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor of Environmental Studies in Environment and Business from the University of Waterloo.
