Maxandre Fortier

Maxandre Fortier has been a foreign service officer at Global Affairs Canada since 2023 and is also a contributor to the Network for Strategic Analysis. He completed a master's degree in political science at UQAM, where he focused on how American allies in the Indo-Pacific perceive the decline of the United States and the rise of China, as well as the strategies put in place to deal with this change.

He is also very active in his community. Since 2015, Maxandre has been involved in the arts and culture sector to promote the development of traditional music and dance in Quebec.
