Peter (Bingxuan) Wang

Peter is a recent Master of Global Affairs graduate from the University of Toronto and holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Columbia University in the City of New York. He previously worked at a strategic communications and public affairs consultancy in Shanghai, advising multinational corporations across the Asia Pacific. More recently, he completed internships with CPP Investments and Crestview Strategy, focusing on international and Canadian public affairs, respectively. 

Originally from Beijing, Peter brings a deep understanding of North American and Chinese societies. He looks forward to leveraging his on-the-ground experience in Asia and cross-cultural perspective to foster meaningful discussions on Canada’s engagement with the Asia Pacific.
