From June 8 to 14, 2025, APF Canada's inaugural cohort of Indo-Pacific Young Leaders engaged in a one-week familiarization visit to Canada, where they meet with key decision-makers to discuss regional security, innovation, emerging technology, space, energy security, sustainable development, and more.
They stopped in Montreal, and Ottawa, and wrapped up their tour in Vancouver for discussions with APF Canada researchers and fellows. This year’s cohort includes government officials, researchers, and private sector actors from Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Mongolia, the Philippines, and Taiwan.
