Luisa Moreno
Dr. Luisa Moreno is an expert in critical minerals, advanced materials, and clean-energy supply chains. She is a Director of the Canadian Critical Materials & Industrial Resilience Institute (CMIRI), an implementation-focused initiative that supports the development of secure, value-added critical-mineral supply chains in Canada. She is also the Managing Director of Tahuti Global Inc., a strategy and advisory firm whose clients include governments, investors, and corporations seeking to develop integrated mineral value chains and promote sustainable industrialization.
Trained as a physicist and materials scientist, Dr. Moreno holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Mechanics from Imperial College London. With over 15 years of experience across mining finance, research, and strategic consulting, she combines deep technical expertise with strong commercial and policy insight.
In addition to her advisory and institutional roles, Dr. Moreno is part of the management teams and boards of several publicly listed mineral and technology companies, contributing to the advancement of projects in rare earths, graphite, lithium, and other critical materials. A frequent keynote speaker and respected industry commentator, she is widely regarded as a thought leader on critical-mineral strategy, industrial policy, and the global energy transition.
