Kayo Ito

Kayo Ito has over 25 years of experience in the global IT industry across the U.S., U.K., and the Asia Pacific. In June 2025, she was appointed CEO of NTT Ltd. Japan Corporation, leading global infrastructure and connectivity services, including subsea cables and network assets, and driving channel sales of NTT Data Inc.’s global offerings to global multinationals based in Japan. 

Previously based in London, Kayo served as Senior Vice President at NTT Data Inc., overseeing the global Japanese multinational’s sales team, and was responsible for securing revenues of approximately US$350M/year. Throughout her career, Kayo has held various leadership roles in sales settings and in executing the global sales/account strategy and global service design, driving improvements and growth in NTT’s global services through partnership management. She also led the post-merger integration (PMI) and consolidation initiatives of NTT’s global teams to help streamline the company’s operations. She got her start in the global IT industry working as a network engineer based in New York.

Raised in Canada, Kayo holds an electrical engineering degree from the University of Saskatchewan. She currently serves as a Governor on the Board for the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Japan and plays violin in the NTT Philharmonic.
