Tisya Raina

J.D. Candidate, University of Western Ontario

Tisya Raina is a JD candidate at the University of Western Ontario with academic and professional interests in information disorder and technology policy. She has served as Program Editor at the NATO Association of Canada’s Centre for Disinformation Studies, a Student Consultant with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, and Co-Chair of Executive Summit Studies at the G20 Research Group. Through these roles, she developed analysis on the impact of misinformation on democratic institutions, refugee inclusion in national education systems, and global summit diplomacy. 

Having attended the 2023 G20 New Delhi Summit and the 2024 G7 Apulia Summit, she hopes to continue researching and advancing equitable policy solutions in the areas of digital regulation, privacy, and international law. 

She holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Peace, Conflict and Justice, Contemporary Asian Studies, and Canadian Studies from the University of Toronto.
