Zélie Schwar

Zélie Schwar is a research intern with APF Canada and a master's student in political science at the Université de Montréal, where she completed a bachelor's degree in political science and Asian studies. Her work and research interests focus primarily on relations between China and Southeast Asia, with a particular interest in subnational dynamics, hydroelectric infrastructure, water resource management, and environmental issues. 

Zélie has presented her research at the CÉRIUM's annual conference on Indo-Pacific strategies and at a conference organized by the Chaire de recherche en études indo-pacifiques at Université Laval. Her research has also been published in the journal of the Observatoire des droits de la personne (Human Rights Observatory).
