APF Canada Director Kevin Lynch Appointed Chair of SNC-Lavalin

Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada (APF Canada) Director and former Clerk of the Privy Council, the Hon. Kevin G. Lynch, P.C., O.C., PH.D, LL.D, has been appointed Chair of SNC-Lavalin effective January 1, 2018.

Dr. Lynch was elected Director of the Montreal-based engineering and construction firm and appointed Vice-chair in May 2017. In his new role, Lynch replaces outgoing Chair, Lawrence Stevenson, who is retiring.

Lynch has been Vice-chair of BMO Financial Group since 2010. Prior to that, he served as Clerk of the Privy Council, Secretary to the Cabinet, and Head of the Public Service of Canada. Dr. Lynch has received honorary doctorates from eleven Canadian universities, and was made an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2011. He was appointed to the Board of APF Canada in June 2013.
