Colin Wetmore

1st Secretary for Cyber and Digital policy issues, Embassy of Canada to the Republic of Korea

Colin Wetmore currently serves as the First Secretary for Cyber and Digital policy issues at the Embassy of Canada to Korea. Prior to this, he was First Secretary for Political Affairs at the High Commission of Canada to India in New Delhi from 2022-2024. Colin also served as First Secretary for Political Affairs at the Embassy of Canada to Indonesia from 2019-2022. His first posting was also the Embassy of Canada to Korea where he served as Second Secretary responsible for domestic political and economic affairs. Past experiences also include work on North America issues, Canada’s bilateral relations with Mexico, and immigration issues. Colin graduated from St. Thomas University (BA) and the University of Windsor (MA) and joined Global Affairs Canada in 2011.
