Dandy Rafitrandi (Indonesia)
Dandy is a Senior Researcher at the Department of Economics at the Centre for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), Jakarta, Indonesia, and Editor-in-Chief of the CSIS Editorial Team. He also led the Decarbonization for Development (DfD) Lab as Project Director, an initiative dedicated to advancing climate policy and research in Indonesia and is a member of the Green Trade Steering Committee hosted by the World Economic Forum. He previously served as a faculty member at Universitas Prasetiya Mulya from 2016 to 2021 and as a research consultant for the UN Conference on Trade and Development and the Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia.
His research focuses on international trade and regional integration, with a particular emphasis on economic co-operation, trade–climate interactions, economic security, and the digital economy and technology, including digital skills, emerging technologies, and the regulatory frameworks shaping the digital economy. Dandy holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Indonesia and a Master of Science in Policy Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign.
