PANEL: Indigenous Women Shaping Global Change: Voices from the Pacific and Arctic
This panel brings together Indigenous women across five jurisdictions –– Canada, Australia, Alaska, Japan, and New Zealand –– to discuss the challenges faced by Indigenous Peoples in the Arctic and Pacific today. Together, the speakers will highlight the value of female leadership, gender and Indigenous inclusivity, and traditional Indigenous knowledge in building resilience within their community. Panelists will share their lived experiences and success stories, demonstrating how they overcame systemic barriers and are actively championing a sustainable future for the next generation of Indigenous youth.
